Through our chapter’s active engagement in projects, we have successfully helped numerous communities in an effort to meet their basic needs. Below are the projects our chapter has completed.
Panama Project
The goal of the Panama project is to design a system of potable water storage and distribution networks that use existing tanks to provide efficient and effective water storage and distribution to the communities of San Francisco, Panama.
Peru Project
The Peru Project aims to provide safe water sources for communities in Huatta and Carancas affected by high levels of arsenic in groundwater wells. Engineering solutions range from arsenic filtration technologies to arsenic-free alternative water sources, to create a sustainable solution for the communities’ needs.
